WANA (Jul 09) – A U.S. cruise missile struck parts of the Agh Tappeh Khan Bridge in Aqqala County early Thursday, according to the Public Relations Office of the IRGC’s Neynava Corps in Golestan Province.

 

The statement said the attack caused no casualties and urged the public to remain calm and disregard rumors, adding that Iran would deliver a “crushing response.”

 

Separately, Khuzestan Province’s deputy governor for security and law enforcement, Valiollah Hayati, said three people were killed and several others injured in what he described as a joint U.S.-Israeli attack on an area near Ahvaz early Thursday.

 

Valiollah Hayati said emergency and medical teams were providing treatment to the wounded.

 

In a separate incident, Sistan and Baluchestan Province’s deputy governor and Iranshahr governor, Salim Kadkhoda, confirmed an early Thursday attack on facilities at Iranshahr Airport, saying one on-duty employee at the airport’s meteorological station was killed.

 

Salim Kadkhoda said several areas of Iranshahr came under attack at 12:30 a.m., with four powerful explosions heard across the city. Field investigations determined that projectiles struck the airport’s flight operations facilities and meteorological station, causing damage to the buildings.

 

Kadkhoda identified the victim as Khaled Ghaderi, an on-duty employee at the meteorological station, and said emergency teams had secured the area following the attack.
