WANA (Mar 23) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said in a statement that U.S. officials must answer to the American public and to the families of military personnel over the casualties suffered by U.S. forces in the war.

The statement said American and Zionist politicians are making decisions about the region from a distance while exposing their own troops and the people of the region to the consequences of those policies, while at the same time continuing to threaten Iran.

The spokesperson said Washington’s policies have led to daily deaths and injuries among American forces in the conflict, adding that the U.S. government is withholding the real casualty figures from the public and from the families of service members.

The statement also said that if the actual number of those killed and wounded were disclosed, the U.S. military would face internal strain and a decline in troop support for commanders, while American public opinion would push back against the continuation of the war.

The spokesperson also referred to U.S. President Donald Trump, saying Washington cannot use media narratives to manufacture a sense of achievement from its military action against Iran.

The statement described the situation inside Iran as a sign of unity, resilience, and strength, saying that cities and villages across the country reflect national solidarity and resistance.

It also questioned the performance of the U.S. military, its equipment, and its advanced weapons in the current conflict, saying the war has weakened the image of American power in the eyes of the world.

The spokesperson concluded by saying that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the country’s armed forces would continue the confrontation until victory.
