WANA (Jun 03) – The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that the IRGC Aerospace Force did not launch any strikes toward the Kuwaiti passenger terminal.

 

He emphasized that the destruction of the Kuwait International Airport passenger terminal was caused by an error in the American Patriot defense systems, which landed on the terminal after failing to intercept Iranian missiles.

 

Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, the spokesperson and deputy of public relations for the IRGC, declared that their reviews and investigations regarding the strike on the Kuwaiti passenger terminal show that the IRGC Aerospace Force had no launches toward this target.

 

He stated that the damage to the Kuwait airport passenger terminal resulted from a malfunction in the U.S. Patriot systems, which came down on the facility following their failure to intercept Iranian missiles.

 

Meanwhile, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has denied Iran’s claims that the damage to the Kuwait airport passenger terminal was caused by an American interceptor missile.
