U.S. Projectiles Hit Multiple Targets in Southern Iran
WANA (Jul 14) – Security officials in the provinces of Khuzestan, Bushehr, and Hormozgan have reported a series of missile strikes and projectile impacts by the U.S. military across several locations in southern and southwestern Iran during the early hours of the morning and this afternoon.
In addition to material damage, the attacks have resulted in the deaths of three individuals in Hormozgan Province.
Three Killed in Attack on Civilian Facility in Hormozgan
According to official reports from the Hormozgan Governorate, U.S. military strikes on civilian areas in western Bandar Abbas and Hajiabad County have been confirmed. During the attack, a Department of Environment building in the village of Seyed Jouzar was targeted, resulting in the deaths of three people at the site.
Afternoon Strikes on Abadan and Bushehr
Simultaneously, other coastal areas in southern Iran were targeted by projectiles. Valiollah Hayati, the Deputy Governor for Security and Law Enforcement in Khuzestan Province, announced that a location in Abadan County was struck by projectiles at 1:25 PM today. He noted that a comprehensive report would be released following initial assessments.
Around the same time, multiple loud explosions were heard in Bushehr and Chahadak. Following the blasts, the Deputy Governor for Security in Bushehr Province confirmed the details, stating that four locations in Bushehr were hit by projectiles this afternoon. The official added that the scope of the attack and potential damages are currently under review; however, preliminary assessments indicate no casualties in Bushehr.
He emphasized that the situation in Bushehr remains calm and all emergency, service, and security agencies are on full alert.
Early Morning Strike on Bandar Imam Khomeini
The Deputy Governor of Khuzestan Province also disclosed that the strikes had begun overnight, with a location in Bandar Imam Khomeini being struck by U.S. projectiles at 3:00 AM today.
Assessments, defensive measures, and relief operations continue across Khuzestan, Bushehr, and Hormozgan provinces to fully stabilize the situation and determine the exact extent of material damage and the full scope of the attacks.
