WANA (Apr 21) – U.S. police detained activists, veterans, and military families during a protest at the Congress against Trump’s war on Iran.

 

Dozens of American veterans and members of military families were detained yesterday (Monday) during protests against the Iran war held inside one of the congressional office buildings in Washington.

 

Their slogan was “End the Iran war” and “America does not have the capacity for another war.” The protesters are part of the group About Face, a coalition led by American veterans.

 

According to reports, out of 150 protesters whom the Capitol Police ordered to disperse, more than 60 people were arrested following resistance and the continuation of the protest.
