UAE: Our Territory Will Not Be Used for Any Military Action Against Iran
WANA (Jan 27) – The United Arab Emirates has stated that it will not allow its airspace, land, or territorial waters to be used for any military operation against Iran.
In a statement released by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government emphasized that it firmly opposes the use of Emirati territory for hostile actions and will not provide any logistical support for such operations.
The announcement comes amid heightened security tensions in West Asia, where concerns over the expansion of military confrontation have recently intensified.
According to the statement, the UAE reaffirmed its long-standing position on preserving regional stability and categorically rejected the use of its territory for military conflicts.
The ministry stressed that the country’s official policy is focused on preventing further escalation and avoiding actions that could deepen regional insecurity.
The UAE also reiterated its belief that dialogue, de-escalation, adherence to international law, and respect for state sovereignty represent the most effective ways to address current regional crises.
The statement underlined that resolving disputes through diplomatic and political channels remains a core principle of Emirati foreign policy.
These remarks come as the UAE continues to position itself as a proponent of stability and dialogue in the region—an approach widely viewed by international observers as an effort to maintain a balanced role within the complex geopolitical landscape of West Asia.
