WANA (Aug 19) – The British government announced a new round of sanctions against Iran on Wednesday, adding seven new entries to its Iranian sanctions regime.

 

According to an official notice published on the UK government’s website on Wednesday evening, the measures target several individuals and entities affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

The update forms part of London’s ongoing restrictive measures targeting Iranian officials, military-linked organizations, and business entities, expanding the existing targeted sanctions list administered by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
