WANA (Jul 02) – Ebrahim Azizi, the Chairman of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, declared on Thursday that the era of United States hegemony and its arbitrary dictation of terms to sovereign nations under the guise of human rights has officially come to an end.

 

Addressing the 13th International Conference on American Human Rights from the Perspective of the Martyr Leader, held on Thursday, Azizi noted that Washington had spent decades assuming a self-righteous authority over global governments and nations.

 

He asserted that a system built on falsehood and distorted thinking had presumed a unilateral right to commit atrocities in Palestine, Lebanon, Gaza, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Iran. However, he emphasized that the global arena is now witnessing entirely new dynamics driven by awareness, resistance, and confrontation—milestones he attributed directly to the achievements of the resistance front and the awakening of global populations.

 

Reflecting on the recent nationwide funeral processions for Iran’s late leader, the senior lawmaker described him as the vanguard of the struggle and steadfastness against extortionists, particularly the United States.

 

He maintained that Iranians, young and old alike, refuse to bow to American pressure, stating that this enduring defiance has become the fundamental identity of the Iranian nation.

 

He added that the country views resistance as its core mission and duty, in accordance with the testament of the late leader.

 

Azizi went on to emphasize that the resistance front and free, Muslim nations have decisively emerged from a position of weakness. He asserted that these forces would not leave the arena until they held their oppressors accountable, identifying this as their primary obligation.

 

While noting that Iran continues to issue official statements, engage in cultural efforts, and conduct political and diplomatic maneuvers, he stressed that it is ultimately the willpower of nations and the resistance front that dictates the final conditions on the ground.

 

The parliamentary chief vowed that Iran would never let go of its grip on the United States. He called for a comprehensive mobilization of all political, social, and popular capacities alongside formal institutions to continuously expose the actions of the U.S. and its allies, describing it as a heavy and solemn responsibility.

 

Concluding his remarks, Azizi pointed to recent assessments by McKenzie, the American geopolitical analyst. He noted that McKenzie himself had conceded that a triad consisting of Iran’s armed forces, its people, and its strategic geography—coupled with what he described as the sheer foolishness and ignorance of the American president—had completely dismantled everything the United States had carefully built over the past fifty years in West Asia and the Persian Gulf region.

 

The lawmaker expressed optimism that this spirit of defiance and these defining characteristics would successfully replicate themselves across the geography of all Muslim nations throughout the region.
