WANA (May 29) – The US Department of the Treasury added new companies and vessels to the list of sanctions related to Iran on Thursday evening.

 

The US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control announced today that it has placed the names of one individual, 16 companies, and 8 vessels on the sanctions list related to Iran, known as the SDN list.

 

The sanctioned individual is an Indian national, and the companies are based in China, Singapore, Qatar, the Marshall Islands, and the United Arab Emirates.
