US Units Flee After Iranian Missile Response Near Strait of Hormuz
WANA (May 08) – An informed Iranian military official said that following an attack by the aggressive US military on an Iranian oil tanker, hostile units operating near the Strait of Hormuz came under Iranian missile fire and were forced to retreat after sustaining damage.
The official stated that after the US military targeted the Iranian tanker, enemy units in the area were hit by Iranian missiles and eventually withdrew after suffering losses.
Sources also reported that three US destroyers near the Strait of Hormuz were targeted by Iran’s navy. It was further claimed that the destroyers were retreating toward the Sea of Oman.
According to the same reports, the attack on the naval vessels was carried out using missiles and suicide drones, and that some of the US destroyers sustained damage as a result.
