WANA (Jul 07) – Satellite imagery indicates that the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier has departed the Gulf of Oman and moved into the Arabian Sea.

 

According reports, analysis of satellite imagery, it is reported that the USS Abraham Lincoln has shifted from the Gulf of Oman to the Arabian Sea over the past two weeks.

 

A comparison between satellite images taken on June 22 and the latest available image from July 5 shows that, after being positioned about 140 kilometers off Iran’s port of Chabahar in the Gulf of Oman, the aircraft carrier moved approximately 207 kilometers south.

 

The vessel is now anchored in the Arabian Sea.
