Valizadeh Named Best Wrestler as Asian Championships
WANA (Apr 15) – Following the conclusion of the Asian Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Kyrgyzstan, the tournament’s top performers have been officially recognized, with Iran’s Milad Valizadeh earning the prestigious title of Best Wrestler of the Tournament.
Valizadeh, the 57kg gold medalist, dominated the competition by scoring a total of 35 points and securing three victories via technical superiority.
His performance was marked by clinical efficiency, with his matches lasting an average of just one minute and 51 seconds, ending every bout well before the regulation time limit.
Valizadeh was also named the tournament’s most aggressive attacker, averaging over 11 points per match.
Iran’s Mohammad Mobin Azimi, the 92kg gold medalist, displayed an impenetrable defense. He claimed the title without conceding a single point to his opponents while scoring 26 points of his own.
