WANA (Jun 10) – The CEO of Hormozgan Water and Wastewater Company announced that the water supply network in the affected areas of Sirik County was restored and returned to operation less than 12 hours after the early morning U.S. attack.

 

According to Abdolhamid Hamzeei, significant damage was inflicted on the 500-cubic-meter and 2,000-cubic-meter water storage reservoirs serving the city of Kouhestak and the Bamani district of Sirik County during the attack.

 

He said that immediately after the incident, technical experts, operational teams, heavy machinery operators, and support personnel were deployed to the affected sites. Emergency work began to replace damaged facilities and establish a new water transmission line using the necessary equipment, pipes, and connections.

 

Hamzeei added that repair and reconstruction efforts continued around the clock. Through the sustained work of utility personnel, the water supply network was successfully restored in less than 12 hours.

 

As a result, water outages in Kouhestak and the villages of the Bamani district were fully resolved, and normal water services resumed across the affected areas.
