WANA (Apr 02) – The 90th wave of the IRGC’s “True Promise 4” operation was carried out, targeting U.S.-affiliated industrial facilities in the Persian Gulf region.

The operation was conducted as a retaliatory measure in response to previous attacks on Iran’s industrial infrastructure.

According to the statement released, the strikes were launched after earlier warnings about reciprocal action in response to attacks on Iran’s industrial facilities were ignored. Following these developments, the Aerospace and Naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps carried out a joint missile and drone operation, striking designated targets.

The statement said that facilities linked to U.S. steel and aluminum industries in several regional countries, including the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, were targeted.

It also noted that parts of military installations and centers associated with the arms industry were struck during the operation.

According to the IRGC statement, the targets included U.S. steel and metal industry facilities based in Abu Dhabi in the UAE, previously undamaged sections of U.S. aluminum facilities in Bahrain, as well as facilities linked to Rafael’s defense industry and alleged hideouts of U.S. military forces near the city of Manama.

The report added that the operation began early yesterday and has continued in a sustained manner. During the strikes, a number of U.S. personnel were reportedly killed or injured, and the targeted areas were quickly placed under tight security, with ambulances seen transporting the wounded for several hours.

Another part of the statement emphasized that the strikes were carried out as part of a “reciprocal response,” warning that any further attacks on Iran’s infrastructure would be met with more severe actions targeting key economic and infrastructural assets of the United States and its allies in the region.

In conclusion, while referring to the killing and injury of Iranian workers in earlier U.S. strikes on Iran’s industrial sector, the statement said the operation was dedicated to the victims’ families and warned against any escalation that could further destabilize the region.
