WANA (Jul 01) – From the early days of the 12-day hybrid war, the Israeli regime placed special emphasis on triggering internal unrest. Israel’s vain hope for “overthrowing the Islamic system” relied on the people not supporting the Islamic Republic and the emergence of street riots. However, this false hope failed in the first phase of the war.

Now, however, it seems that the regime’s “Plan B” to incite internal unrest has begun: creating division between Iranians and Afghan migrants!

Since the early days of the war, false news has been circulated regarding Afghan nationals having a role in the Israeli regime’s operations inside Iran. Many of these reports were denied by official sources.

Nevertheless, some media outlets and certain individuals with specific backgrounds in Iran’s online space continue to push this false narrative, intentionally or unintentionally playing into Israel’s puzzle.

In this regard, an informed source reported:

1. Among the spies and field agents of the Israeli regime, only a very small number were Afghan. Some of the arrested individuals were nationals of Central Asian countries who, due to speaking the Dari language, were initially mistakenly identified as Afghans.

2. Afghan migrants, who mostly live on the outskirts of major cities, have cooperated extensively with Iran’s intelligence agencies and have played a significant role in recent discoveries.

3. The policy of organising undocumented Afghan migrants is being pursued prudently in Iran. Emotional and unrealistic approaches to this issue could harm the country’s production and economy. It seems that creating hatred between the two nations of Iran and Afghanistan is one of the goals of the Israeli regime.

4. Planting seeds of hatred in the hearts of migrants through mistreatment, insults, and humiliation is not only un-Islamic and inhumane, but in the short term can pave the way for internal unrest, and in the long term can create discord and conflict between the two Muslim countries of Iran and Afghanistan.
