WANA (Jun 02) – The content produced by anti-Iranian media outlets is often a direct reflection of the directives dictated by the Israeli regime, acting as the de facto employer behind the scenes.

In a recent revelation, Mohammad Manzarpour, former editor at the BBC, disclosed that the editorial agendas of anti-Iranian media are shaped by Israeli interests. He stated:

“Employees at BBC Persian, Iran International, and Manoto are essentially serving Mossad and Israel. The content across these Persian-language networks aligns with Mossad’s objectives. The outputs are indistinguishable from one another: promoting separatism, radical feminist narratives, and sowing division inside Iran.”

This isn’t a new allegation but rather a recurring reaffirmation of Israel’s role in orchestrating these media campaigns against Iran.

Last year, an audio recording surfaced following the controversial departure of Sima Sabet, former host at the anti-Iran outlet Iran International. In the audio, Sabet mentioned that Iranian professors in London believe the Islamic Republic must remain, given the global dynamics. She also emphasized her deep belief in that view herself.

Ironically, Sabet’s programs had long been criticized for promoting separatist narratives. Following her resignation, even Shahram Homayoun, a well-known monarchist activist, remarked:

“You had the highest volume of interviews with separatist factions, and yet you were talking about human dignity at Iran International?!”

Additionally, in 2022, an audio leak from Rana Rahimpour, a dismissed BBC journalist, revealed that the real agenda behind recent unrest in Iran wasn’t democracy—but disintegration. She claimed that Iran International systematically interviews only leaders of separatist groups, with the clear objective of promoting division.

Rahimpour stated: “Iran International was explicitly instructed to engage only with leaders of [separatist] parties.” She also pointed out that these outlets follow Israeli policies and selectively report news to undermine Iran’s national unity.

In 2023, a group of anti-Iranian journalists reportedly met with Gila Gamliel, the Israeli Minister of Intelligence. The meeting was allegedly aimed at renewing their coordination with the Israeli regime and receiving detailed briefings from Zionist think tanks to align their actions accordingly.

Given these accounts—many of which come from former insiders—it’s evident that three key features define these anti-Iranian media outlets:

1. Israeli Command and Editorial Oversight – These outlets follow directives consistent with the goals of the Israeli regime.

2. Promotion of Separatism – They regularly provide platforms to groups advocating for the fragmentation of Iran’s territorial integrity.

3. Unquestioning Support for Israel – These media outlets consistently shape narratives to bolster the Israeli state and its geopolitical objectives.
