WANA (Feb 11) – In recent days, numerous reports and documents have been published regarding an alleged “insult to the Holy Kaaba by Jeffrey Epstein,” described as one of the most notorious figures in the United States.

The reports claim that the act took place with lobbying by certain figures and officials in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

However, what has drawn the attention of social media users is what they describe as the unusual and ongoing silence of Molavi Abdolhamid, the Sunni leader of Iran, regarding this alleged affront to the sanctity of the Kaaba.

Molavi Abdolhamid, who resides in Zahedan in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province — a province with a Sunni population — has on several occasions expressed support for the Baha’is and has recognized what he called Israel’s “right to establish a state.”

Critics say that he has spoken out on various issues, large and small, yet for some time no statement has been heard from him defending the sanctity of the House of God.

A number of Iranian users are now raising the question of whether there is a particular obstacle preventing Abdolhamid from condemning what they describe as such Israeli actions.
