WANA (Jun 05) – Iran’s Supreme Leader has firmly insisted on Iran’s enrichment right and self-reliance for many years, now in today’s world, where the caravan of nations is swiftly moving toward harnessing nuclear energy, not utilizing it, in the near future would be a big mistake for a country. let alone a country has it but abandons it in favor of others.

This industry is the mother of modern technologies and the master key to the gates of progress and prosperity. Without it, the journey toward a secure and independent future would remain a distant dream:

“The nuclear industry is a mother industry. Numerous scientific fields are influenced by it, including advanced and sensitive technologies, fundamental sciences, and engineering, as well as medical and pharmaceutical applications. It also plays a role in industries related to agriculture and the environment. These are just a few examples of areas that are either dependent on or influenced by the nuclear industry,” Iran’s Supreme Leader stated on June 4, 2025.

The Enrichment Cycle — Iran’s Cycle of Progress

Iran, blessed with the brilliant genius of its youth and the dedication of its distinguished scientists, has stepped onto the path of nuclear industry in pursuit of a future marked by power and progress. Through its unwavering determination, it has achieved indigenous nuclear technology—an honor born of the nation’s faith, effort, and self-belief:

“Thanks to the intelligence of our youth, the determination of our scientists, and tremendous effort, Iran succeeded in acquiring the full nuclear fuel cycle. Today, we are capable of producing nuclear fuel from the mine all the way to the power plant. This was accomplished by our youth and scientists. In the world, the number of countries with this capability may not even exceed the fingers of two hands,” Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated on June 4, 2025.

Now that Iran has reached the peak of nuclear technology, America, through pressure, deceit, and psychological warfare, is trying to halt uranium enrichment in order to extinguish the light of Iran’s progress. Because if the enrichment cycle stops, the nuclear industry loses its vitality. Relying on foreign sources for nuclear fuel is a failed and previously tested path—one that leads only to dependence and backwardness:

“In the nuclear industry, there is a pivotal point that acts as a key—uranium enrichment. Our enemies have focused all their efforts on this enrichment process. A nuclear industry without enrichment capability is useless, because we’d have to beg others for fuel for our power plants.

Even if we had a hundred nuclear power plants, without enrichment, it would be of no benefit. Nuclear power plants need fuel. And if we cannot produce this fuel inside the country, we’d have to stretch out our hand to America, and they could impose dozens of conditions before providing fuel.

We’ve already tested this in the 2000s. We needed 20% enriched fuel. When the [Americans] realized how serious and insistent we were about obtaining 20%, they broke their promise and refused to deliver it,” Iran’s Supreme Leader stated on June 4, 2025.

As the Centrifuge Spins, So Does the Wheel of Life

America dreams of dragging Iran back into an era of darkness and backwardness—a time marked with the shameful slogan: “We can’t.” They cannot tolerate the progress and independence of the Iranian nation, and are doing everything in their power to block this proud land’s path to growth and flourishing. But Iran, relying on the unbreakable will of its people, will resolutely continue along this bright path:

“The Americans’ primary demand is that you must not have a nuclear industry at all. They oppose Iran’s progress and the self-reliance of the Iranian nation. Our response to the nonsense of the loud but reckless U.S. government is clear: They can’t do a damn thing about it,” Iran’s Supreme Leader stated on June 4, 2025.

The Path to Diplomatic Success Runs Through Strength on the Ground

In the realm of politics and diplomacy, when Iran enters negotiations from a position of strength and speaks the language of power, the opposing side is compelled to acknowledge the rights of the Iranian nation. Iran has the ability to engage with honor and dignity in talks with America, paving a way in which both the centrifuges keep working uninterrupted and the people’s livelihoods improve, while the unjust sanctions are lifted.

The key point, however, is this: gaining leverage in diplomacy and political negotiations depends on a country’s real-world power:

“Power is a relative concept. At each level of power, one can take a certain course of action. In previous rounds of negotiations, the discussion was about whether they would allow even five centrifuges to operate—they said no. When you have no power, the enemy acts like that.

But when you’ve got 19,000 centrifuges running, and you’ve developed second, third, and fourth-generation machines—well, [the enemy] is forced to accept it. That’s what power means. If you have strength, you can even extract concessions from arrogant powers,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated on May 26, 2016.
