Iranians Rally in Support of Palestinian Actions
WANA (OCT 07) – In Tehran, a significant public gathering took place at “Palestine” Square.
This gathering holds great importance in the context of Iran’s loyal support for Palestine’s resistance. As one of the most determined supporters of the Palestinian cause, Iran’s reaction to this event was keenly anticipated as a display of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
As the first official reaction of Iran, the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry considered the Palestinian attack on the occupied territories as a fitting act: “The inherent right of the oppressed Palestinian people to defend their land and sanctuaries against occupation, aggression, daily violations and organized terrorism of the Zionist regime is a natural and legitimate right based on all recognized international standards and fundamental principles of international law.”
Crowds of Iranians, including a group of Conservatives, assembled in the heart of the city to demonstrate their support for the Palestinians. Their joy was evident following the recent attack by Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Israel, which garnered worldwide attention.
” Today, thank God, they( the Palestinians)reached a place where Israel had a military attack and many casualties. I am pleased about that. And out of respect for all the children who were innocently martyred by usurper Israel, I felt it was my duty to be here.” said Zahra Heidari, Daughter of a Martyred who was present in Tehran’s Palestine support gathering.
The attack marked an unprecedented moment in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, sparking various reactions and igniting discussions on the complexities of this event.
” Truly, the government of Iran’s (desired) policy for is democracy in Palestine, which means that the original residents of Palestine, not immigrants and people who entered illegally, should vote, and every vote reached by the Palestinian’s nation will be respected by the Iranian nation and government.” Stated the university representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader.
Supreme Leader of Iran, AyatollahKhamenei, four days ago, On the occasion of the birth of the Holy Prophet, implicitly warned the Israelis that the Palestinian resistance has not only not weakened but is more potent than before.” The usurper Zionist regime is coming to an end…Today, the Palestinian movement is more alive than it has ever been during these 70 or 80 years…”
Tonight, “Palestine” Square in Tehran became a symbol of unity and determination for the Palestinian cause as the evening went on.
