Barzani met Iran FM to expand bilateral relations
WANA (May 6) – Nichirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
Nichirvan Barzani, the president of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, traveled to Tehran as the head of a high-ranking delegation of Kurdistan Region officials who accompanied him on this trip. He met and talked with Dr. Hossein Amirabdulhian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
Nichirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, along with a high-ranking delegation including; “Sheikh Jafar Sheikh Mustafa,” Deputy President of the Kurdistan Region, “Mustafa Seyed Kader,” Deputy President of the Kurdistan Region, “Delshad Shahab,” Senior Advisor to the President of the Kurdistan Region and Spokesman of the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region, “Riber Ahmed,” Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kurdistan Region, “Fowzi Hariri,” chief of staff of Kurdistan region, “Nazem Dabbagh,” representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Tehran, “Abdullah Akreei,” adviser to the President of the Kurdistan Region on Iranian affairs, “Salam Aref Rushdi,” deputy representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iran, and… and at 1:00 p.m. today, Monday, May 6th, he met with Dr. Hossein Amir Abdolhian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
In this meeting, the two sides discuss and consult the bilateral relations between Iran and the Kurdistan region, examine the most important issues in the region, expand Tehran-Erbil relations, etc.
