WANA (June 18) — The digital Rial will be available for use in Kish starting in July.

 

Customers in the banking network can make purchases using the digital Rial wallet by scanning a generated barcode with the provided software, without needing paper money or bank cards, starting from July.

 

The Director of the Central Bank’s Payment Systems Department, announced that a new service will be launched in cooperation with Bank Mellat and Tejarat on Kish Island starting in July of this year. Upon arriving on the island and receiving an SMS, customers can charge their digital Rial wallet and use this service at store terminals.
