WANA (June 24) – In the latest presidential debate, candidate Pezeshkian stated that he considers foreign policy to ensure Iranians’ welfare. He emphasized that the basis of his foreign policy is honor, wisdom, and expediency, though his understanding of these principles differs from that of other candidates.

“I seek dignity in improving people’s lives. In other words, I believe foreign policy should both promote Iran’s position, security, and authority in the world, and provide welfare and comfort for every Iranian,” he mentioned.

“One of my tasks is to prevent the migration of Iranians and facilitate the return of those abroad. A key goal of my foreign policy is to suppress the wave of emigration and create incentives for them to return to the country,” he stated.
