WANA (June 29) – Minister of Interior of Iran, Ahmad Vahidi, commented on the holding of the second round of elections for Iranians residing in Canada, saying:

 

“Canada claims democracy loudly, but does not allow Iranians there to participate in elections.”

 

“The Foreign Ministry is negotiating for the second round of elections in Canada, but we doubt that the Canadian government will agree.”
