WANA (July 02) – A short visual overview of the first round of the Iranian presidential election.

 

The second round of Iran’s presidential election for 2024 is set to occur on July 5. This runoff election is between Masud Pezeshkian, a reformist lawmaker, and Saeed Jalili, a conservative.

 

The first round, held on June 28, resulted in Pezeshkian receiving approximately 42.5% of the vote and Jalili around 39%.
