WANA (July 03) — The head of the Iran Space Organization has stated that Kusar satellite is a sensing satellite for which the Iranian Space Organization has signed a contract to purchase its images.

 

This action is considered an important step in supporting the private sector and creating a market for this sector’s space products.

 

The launch of the Kusar satellite was planned this year, but it has been slightly delayed.

 

The Hodhod research-communication satellite will be launched simultaneously with the Kusar satellite. The exact launch date of these two satellites will be announced soon.
