WANA (July 15) – In a unilateral and anti-Iranian move, the Council of the European Union today extended its sanctions against Iran until July 27, 2025, on the baseless pretext of Iran’s military support for Russia’s war against Ukraine and armed groups and entities in the Middle East and the Red Sea region.

As a result of the sanctions, 12 individuals and 9 Iranian institutions are directly affected. These individuals will have their assets frozen.

Also, the ban on individuals’ travel to the European Union is currently in effect.
