WANA (July 17) – The government spokesperson announced today that the final step has been taken to allow the import of used cars, provided they are models from 2019 or later. This decision, which was approved by the government, opened the car import market to all Iranians.

 

“It is mandatory to adhere to the latest European standards for importing used cars,” emphasized the spokesperson.

 

The regulation also highlights the allowance for importing free-zone registered cars into the mainland.
