WANA (July 23) – A neurosurgery specialist highlighted the remarkable capabilities of the human brain, noting that it processes information 30 times faster than the world’s current supercomputers.

The specialist pointed out several key differences between men’s and women’s brains:

  • Men’s brains are 10% heavier than women’s brains, but this does not mean men are smarter.
  • The density of nerve cells is higher in women than in men.
  • Men tend to focus on a single task; for example, when reading a newspaper in front of the TV, they are often oblivious to their surroundings.
  • Women, on the other hand, can multitask effectively, such as cooking, watching TV, and attending to children simultaneously, showcasing a unique feature of the female brain.
  • The hippocampus, a part of the brain associated with memory and information processing, is larger in women than in men.
