WANA (August 03) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan announced today, Saturday, that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar had a telephone conversation with Ali Bagheri, the Acting Foreign Minister of Iran.

 

According to Business Recorder, quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, during today’s phone call, Ali Bagheri, the Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, requested Ishaq Dar to attend the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to be held at the level of foreign ministers.

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan added, “The Deputy Prime Minister fully supported this request and confirmed that Islamabad will actively participate in this important meeting.”
