WANA (Aug 04) – Arab countries, through numerous messages and delegations, are urging Iran to refrain from a severe retaliation against Israel.

In the recent meeting between the Jordanian Foreign Minister and Ali Bagheri, the Acting Foreign Minister of Iran, issues related to Israel and Gaza and the possibility of an Iranian attack on Israel were discussed. This meeting took place while Arab countries, through numerous messages and delegations, were urging Iran to refrain from a severe retaliation against Israel. This meeting highlights diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the region.

The Jordanian Foreign Minister and Ali Bagheri addressed important and sensitive regional issues during this meeting, but no press conference was held afterwards.

These diplomatic efforts by Arab countries reflect their serious concerns about the potential consequences of Iran’s retaliation against Israel. They are trying to persuade Iran through diplomacy and negotiation to forgo a military response to Israel, aiming to prevent the escalation of crises and unrest in the region.

Jordan, one of the countries that has good relations with Israel, has asked Iran to show restraint on the issue of attacking Israel. This request comes at a time when Palestinians and much of the Islamic world regard the rulers of Jordan as traitors to the Palestinian cause due to these relations.
