WANA (Aug 09) – Today, August 9th, the IRGC Commander-in-Chief ordered the addition of a large number of new anti-destructive cruise missiles to the Navy.

The missiles possess advanced features such as a high-explosive warhead and stealth capabilities, making them difficult to detect. They belong to the cruise missile category and are capable of causing significant damage, including the potential to sink enemy destroyers with their impact.

“Today, the accuracy of weapons in the navy, the speed of operation of systems and vessels, intelligence, mobility and dexterity are certainly considered among our naval power.” Said General Salami, Commander in Chief of IRGC, at this ceremony.

All types of long-range and medium-range missile systems, forest combat, surveillance and destruction drones, electronic warfare systems, marine radars, and combat equipment were among the missiles added to the combat organization of this force.

Only 210 out of 2,654 systems were on display; other strategic systems remained undisclosed due to compliance with protection principles.

These systems are some of the most advanced anti-surface and sub-surface weapons in the IRGC Navy’s arsenal.

” In order to deal with electronic warfare, we have added systems that will actually be added to the complex today.” Gen. Alireza Tangsiri, Commander of the Navy forces of IRGC.
