Iran’s Beirut Embassy Reacts to Hezbollah’s Missile Base Unveiling
WANA (August 17) – The Iranian Embassy in Lebanon responded to Hezbollah’s unveiling of the underground missile base “Imad 4” by releasing a statement. The embassy noted, “In Persian, we refer to missile facilities located underground and within rocks and mountains as ‘missile cities.'”
The statement added, “These missile cities are spread throughout the geography of dear Iran and instill fear in the hearts of Iran’s enemies. If necessary, we can launch an attack on the enemy from any point within the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance media aired a video titled “Our Mountains Are Our Treasures,” showcasing Hezbollah’s secret missile base “Imad 4.”
During the unveiling of its secret base, Hezbollah stated, “One of the messages of ‘Imad 4’ is to demonstrate the ‘very high level of confidentiality’ regarding the location of Hezbollah’s missile capabilities.”
According to a report by Al Mayadeen, quoting Hezbollah’s military media, the facilities located deep underground are not only out of reach of hostile intelligence capabilities but are also protected from hostile attacks.
