WANA (Aug 19) – An innovative company based at Pardis Technology Park in Iran has created a groundbreaking anti-war video game called “Fatherhood.” Set in the Middle East, the game lets players step into the role of a father who must protect his blind child amid the chaos of war.

 

“Fatherhood” has received global praise for its powerful depiction of war’s impact on lives and has won several prestigious awards.

 

Mehdi Sadri, the co-founder of the company, emphasized the game’s unique features, such as the ability to comfort the child to alleviate fear, which has attracted considerable attention.

 

The game has achieved top narrative and social impact honours at the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2022. It was also recognized at the Indie Cup Europe Festival and Indie X 2023. Furthermore, “Fatherhood” was named the best game at the Digital Dragons accelerator in Poland and selected as one of Microsoft’s ID@XBOX titles.
