WANA (Aug 27) – In a phone conversation with the Iranian Foreign Minister, the Omani Foreign Minister emphasized Sultan Oman’s special attention to the relations with Iran and their growing development. He reiterated his readiness to closely cooperate with his Iranian counterpart to follow up on and implement the agreements between the leaders of the two countries.

 

Sayyid Badr Al-Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, highlighted Sultan Oman’s special focus on the relationship between the two countries and its continuous development. He reaffirmed his readiness to work closely with his Iranian counterpart to monitor and review the implementation of the agreements made by the leaders of both nations.

 

The Omani Foreign Minister also stated that Oman supports the continuation of political consultations between the two countries.

 

Sayyid Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister, also expressed his reciprocal readiness to cooperate and closely interact with his Omani counterpart on issues of mutual interest in bilateral, regional, and international matters.

 

Referring to the growing challenges in the West Asia region, Sayyid Abbas Araghchi noted that fortunately, Iran-Oman relations are expanding in all dimensions. The continuation of consultations and cooperation between the two countries on various issues, including regional topics, will not only secure mutual interests but also assist in resolving existing challenges.
