WANA (Aug 27) – In recent statements, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Nasser Kanaani, condemned the recent events in Pakistan and expressed solidarity with the people of Bangladesh, extending heartfelt sympathy and support to the nation during this challenging time.

 

Nasser Kanaani has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in various regions of Pakistan, particularly in the Balochistan province, which tragically claimed the lives of several police officers and civilians.

 

Expressing his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and his solidarity with the Pakistani government and people, Kanaani reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering stance against terrorism in all its forms.

 

He emphasized that Iran stands firmly alongside its brotherly and neighbouring nation, Pakistan, in the ongoing fight against this heinous scourge.

 

In another statement, Kanaani also expressed deep sympathy with the government and people of Bangladesh following the devastating floods that have caused significant loss of life and extensive material damage in the country.

 

Extending his condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a swift recovery for the injured, Kanaani stressed that Iran stands with Bangladesh during this difficult time.

 

The recent monsoon rains and flooding have led to the deaths of 23 people, affected over three million lives, and left more than a million households across 11 regions struggling to cope with the disaster.
