WANA (Aug 29) – In a ceremony attended by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Turkmenistan’s National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, four cooperation agreements were signed between high-ranking officials of Iran and Turkmenistan.

 

The agreements include a cooperation program between the foreign ministries of both countries for 2024-2026, a sister city agreement between Iran’s Amirabad Port and Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbashi Port, the development of natural gas interactions between the National Iranian Gas Company and Turkmen Gas, and a joint action plan to deepen and expand customs cooperation from 2024 to 2026.
