WANA (Sep 01) – Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard, the Commander of Iran’s Air Defense Force, highlighted Iran’s complete self-reliance and strength in the field of air defense during a briefing with reporters.

 

The commander warned, “If our enemies miscalculate, they will face a devastating and irreversible response from Iran’s powerful air defense.”

 

Sabahifard emphasized that all air defense equipment is domestically produced, with no dependency on foreign countries. He affirmed that Iran’s Air Defense Force is at the peak of its power and fully capable of countering any potential threats.

 

Sabahifard stated, “Our air defense systems surpass many of the world’s most advanced systems in several aspects.” He noted that these systems are designed and developed based on current threats and even ahead of anticipated future threats.

 

He also stressed the full readiness of Iran’s air defense forces, asserting, “We are capable of using these systems effectively and efficiently when necessary.”

 

Sabahifard further pointed out that Iran has repeatedly demonstrated its combat capabilities to both the U.S. and Israel, underlining Iran’s commitment to maintaining military independence and advancing its defensive technologies.
