WANA (Sep 01) – Seyed Mojtaba Alavi, the secretary of the 14th Iran International Sports Film Festival, announced that over 620 entries from 72 different countries have registered for this year’s event.

 

This is a cultural and artistic event, the festival focuses on showcasing and evaluating sports films and documentaries, aiming to recognize and honor outstanding sports-related works, promote sports culture, and highlight emerging talents.

 

The submissions include documentaries, feature films, and short films. Alavi stated that the review process has already begun, and the jury panel will be introduced after the completion of this phase.

 

He highlighted the diversity of this year’s entries, noting that over 250 films from Iran and 370 films from other countries have applied to participate in the festival. All these works will undergo thorough review and judging.

 

The Iran International Sports Film Festival is the official representative of FICTS in Iran and is supported by various organizations including the National Paralympic Committee. The festival is set to take place this fall.
