WANA (Sep 09) – In response to recent statements regarding its nuclear activities, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s mission in Vienna has emphasized that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must maintain complete impartiality in its reports.

The mission highlighted that all of Iran’s nuclear materials and activities have been fully declared to and verified by the IAEA.

Iran has voluntarily and cooperatively provided all requested information and documentation to the IAEA, even when the agency’s questions were based on what it considers to be unacceptable or fabricated documents.

The Iranian government specifically challenged the IAEA’s assessments on sites like Turquzabad, arguing that these evaluations lack credible evidence.

Turquzabad, identified as an industrial location, comprises warehouses and storage areas for non-nuclear materials, including detergents, chemicals, foodstuffs, textiles, rubber, and auto parts, and has no nuclear activities present.

Additionally, Iran stated that no nuclear materials or related activities have been found at the location known as Lavizan-Shian.

Regarding IAEA inspectors, Iran has only removed a limited number of them while ensuring their rights are fully respected following Article 9 of the Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement. The total number of IAEA inspectors currently stationed in Iran stands at 120.

Iran expects the IAEA to produce verification reports on the country’s nuclear activities based on impartiality, professionalism, and objectivity principles.
