Iran Seeks to Secure Its Rights in the Arash Gas Field
WANA (Sep 10) – The Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Construction Headquarters announced that the organisation’s strategic Arash gas field is now a priority, focusing on safeguarding Iran’s interests. He emphasized the importance of fully utilizing shared oil and gas fields, which have long been a missing link in Iran’s economy.
General Abed highlighted that issues related to water, electricity, and fuel are key challenges for Iran’s future. He expressed the readiness of the headquarters to assist the 14th government in addressing these challenges.
For instance, Khatam al-Anbia has initiated the construction of the Mehr Persian Gulf Refinery to address the country’s fuel needs. The first phase is set for completion by the end of 2024 and the next phase by 2025.
General Abed also pointed out that previous governments had failed to tap into shared oil and gas resources fully, but Khatam al-Anbia has now prioritized the exploitation of fields like Yadavaran, Esfandiar, Farzad, and the critical Arash field to ensure the Iranian people benefit from these resources.
He concluded by stressing that the development of the Arash field is essential for securing the nation’s interests and urging that it remain a top priority for the 14th government to ensure the rights and benefits of the Iranian people are fully realized.
