WANA (Sep 10) – Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, strongly condemned this morning’s brutal assault by Israel on a Palestinian refugee center in the “Mawasi” area of Khan Yunis, which led to the massacre of dozens of defenseless Palestinian civilians.

Kanaani, referring to evidence of the use of bunker-busting bombs in this horrific crime and the disappearance of several Palestinian refugees in the craters created by the attack, emphasized that the terrorist Israeli regime, through its insane attacks on Palestinian civilians and refugee camps, once again demonstrated its complete disregard for international legal standards, as well as ethical and humanitarian principles.

The Iranian diplomat stressed that the continuation of such heinous crimes over the past eleven months, along with the regime’s increasing aggressions against the security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of regional countries, are clear and undeniable examples of threats to international peace and security, genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity. He called for immediate and effective action by international organizations, particularly the UN Security Council, to prevent and curb the boundless crimes of the Israeli regime in accordance with the UN Charter and international law.
