WANA (Sep 24) – In a recent meeting with senior American media executives, President Pezeshkian condemned the ongoing atrocities committed by Israel and the silence of international institutions in the face of these actions.

He stated, “We are not seeking insecurity, and for the past hundred years, Iran has never been the initiator of a war.” He further emphasized, “We will never allow any country to bully us or threaten our security and territorial integrity.”

Pezeshkian highlighted that Iran has been the target of terrorist attacks by Israel in recent years, noting, “Among all countries in the world, our scientists, people, and officials have been the most affected by terrorist assaults.”

He described the defence of Gaza as a defence of the rights of the oppressed and questioned, “What law permits the bombing of schools and the killing of innocent children?”

The President also referred to protests by American and European students against the crimes of Israel, asking, “Did these individuals take to the streets for money, or are they free people protesting for humanity?”

He pointed to the massacres occurring in Lebanon, adding, “As people are being martyred with pagers, where is the voice of human rights? This is truly shameful.”
