WANA (Sep 26) – Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed the government’s commitment to engaging with both the East and West in line with national interests.

 

In a post on his social media account on X, Pezeshkian wrote: “While I and the Foreign Minister are holding meetings with regional and global leaders in New York, the Minister of Economy is conducting negotiations with Asian countries in Uzbekistan. In the coming days, the First Vice President, Mohammad Reza Aref, will also travel to Pakistan and Armenia.”

 

He emphasized the government’s diplomatic efforts, stating, “The 14th administration is pursuing political and economic diplomacy from New York to Samarkand. As promised, we will engage with both East and West based on national interests.”

 

Pezeshkian expressed hope that these diplomatic initiatives would lead to improvements in the lives of the people.
