WANA (Sep 28) – The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, released a message on the occasion of the martyrdom of the great icon and flag bearer of the resistance, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.

In this message, he congratulated and condoled the martyrdom of the leader of Hezbollah to the entire resistance front and the Islamic Ummah and declared five days of public mourning in the country,

 

The text of the Ayatollah Khamenei’s message is as follows:

 

” In the name of Allah, the Merciful,

We are of God, and we return to God at the end.

Dear people of Iran, the great Islamic nation, The great fighter, the flag bearer of the resistance in the region, a scholar with religious virtue, and a wise political leader, Mr. Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, may Allah be pleased with him, achieved martyrdom in the events of last night in Lebanon and flew to the Kingdom (heaven). The dear man of resistance received the reward of decades of Jihad for the sake of Allah and its difficulties during a holy struggle.

He was martyred while he was engaged in planning to defend the homeless people of the suburbs of Beirut and their destroyed houses and their deceased loved ones, just as he had been planning and planning and fighting for decades to defend the oppressed people of Palestine and the usurped towns and villages and destroyed houses and their massacred loved ones. The grace of martyrdom was his definite right after so much struggle.

The Islamic world lost a great person, the Resistance Front lost an outstanding standard bearer, and Hezbollah lost an unparalleled leader, but the blessings of his decades-long Jihad will never be lost. The basis that he founded in Lebanon and gave direction to other centers of resistance, will not only not disappear with his loss, but will gain strength thanks to his blood and other martyrs of this incident. The strikes of the resistance front on the worn-out and decaying body of the Zionist regime will be more striking. The evil nature of the Zionist regime has not won in this incident.

The master of resistance was not a person; he was a way and a school, and this way will continue. Martyr Seyyed Abbas Mousavi’s blood did not remain on the ground, nor would the blood of Martyr Seyed Hassan’s.

To the beloved wife of the dear man, who also gave her son Seyed Hadi before, in the path of God, and to her beloved children and to the families of the martyrs of this incident, to each and every member of Hezbollah, and to the dear people and high authorities of Lebanon, and to the entire front I congratulate and offer my condolences to the resistance, and to the entire Islamic Ummah, on the martyrdom of Nasrallah the Great and his martyred companions, and announce five days of public mourning in Islamic Iran. May God bless him along with his parents. “
