WANA (Sep 29) – In a message to General Salami, Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi expressed condolences for the death of General Abbas Nilforoushan, emphasizing that “the horrific crimes of the aggressive Zionist regime will not go unanswered.” He affirmed that Iran’s diplomatic apparatus will utilize all its resources to pursue the perpetrators and their supporters.

 

Araghchi highlighted Nilforoushan’s distinguished record of dedicated service during the Sacred Defense and his commitment to national security and the defense of the holy sites. He stated that the late general exemplified deep faith and selfless sacrifice in safeguarding the country’s security and supporting the sacred cause of Palestinian freedom.

 

The Foreign Minister condemned the recent attack as a clear indication of the terrorist nature of Israel and its known supporters. He reiterated that this crime will not go unpunished and that Iran will employ all political, diplomatic, legal, and international avenues to hold the criminals accountable.
