WANA (Oct 01) – Following a terrorist attack in Bent, Nikshahr, in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan province, after a charity event held to support children’s education, 4 people were killed, and 1 person was injured.

 

As a result of the indiscriminate attack by armed individuals in the city of Bent, Nikshahr City, Yousef Shirani, the head of the Bent City Council and a local resident, was also killed.

 

Shortly after an earlier attack, another terrorist incident occurred in Khash, a town in Sistan and Baluchistan province. Armed assailants opened fire on a police patrol vehicle, resulting in the deaths of two Iranian security officers.

 

The terrorist group Jaish al-Adl claimed responsibility for both the attack on the police vehicle in Khash and a separate assault in the town of Bent, releasing a statement taking credit for the coordinated acts of violence.
