WANA (Oct 03) – A terrorist network operating in Sistan and Baluchestan has been dismantled by Iranian intelligence and security agencies. This action follows recent terrorist activities in the region attributed to the terrorist group “Jaysh al-Zulm,” which is linked to foreign intelligence services. These attacks resulted in the deaths of several Sunni Baluch citizens and security personnel.

In response, Iranian security and intelligence agencies launched extensive intelligence operations that culminated in targeting the main perpetrators behind these acts of terrorism. This led to the identification and dismantling of the terrorist network based in southern Sistan and Baluchestan.

On October 2nd, a series of operations resulted in a several-hour confrontation between security forces and the terrorists, during which three militants were killed, and several others were apprehended. Following this decisive operation, a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized from the terrorists’ base.
