WANA (Oct 05) –  The Operation ” True Promise 2″,  carried out by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s Aerospace Force, marked a historic moment that captured the world’s attention. In this operation, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard launched dozens of ballistic missiles targeting Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories, demonstrating that Iran’s missile power is far more than just rhetoric.

What made this operation even more thrilling was the defeat of Israel’s advanced multi-layered defense systems. Israel relies on multi-layered defense systems such as Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and the Arrow 2 and 3 systems.

These systems, built at a cost of billions of dollars, are designed to intercept aerial threats at every level. However, the recent operation revealed that these systems face serious challenges against large-scale attacks and advanced missiles, making them vulnerable to Iran’s missile power.

The defense systems, which were expected to destroy all missile threats in the sky, failed to stop the missiles launched one after another towards Israel’s sensitive targets.

Each moment the missiles moved towards their targets was seen by military analysts as a practical test in which the Israeli systems did not pass.

In this attack, Iran’s missiles hit key Israeli air bases where F-35 and F-15 fighter jets are stationed.

The failure of Israel’s defense systems to counter these missiles raised serious questions about their effectiveness.

Emad Missile: Precision in Complex Conditions

One of the missiles that shone during this operation was the “Emad,” a missile synonymous with precision and power. Imagine a 15-meter missile launched into the sky at incredible speed, then hitting its target with unbelievable accuracy.

That’s the Emad—a missile with a range of 1,700 kilometers and a 750-kilogram warhead, relentlessly heading towards its target.

Fattah Hypersonic Missile: Speed and Power

Alongside Emad, the hypersonic missile “Fattah” also played a crucial role in this operation. Fattah, with a speed of up to 13 times the speed of sound, is one of the fastest missiles in existence. This speed makes it almost impossible for radar and defense systems to detect it in time.

With such capabilities, Fattah became one of the Revolutionary Guard’s trump cards in this operation. Its ability to bypass advanced defense systems and its exceptional maneuverability have made Fattah a military nightmare for Israel.

Qadr: Destructive Power at Long Ranges

The “Qadr” missile, with a range of nearly 2,000 kilometers and the ability to carry heavy warheads, was another weapon deployed in this operation.

With its high destructive capabilities and considerable precision, these missiles pose a serious threat to strategic targets.

Air Base Attacks: Israel in Shock

In this operation, three main Israeli air bases, which house F-35 and F-15 fighter jets, were targeted. These bases had been home to advanced aircraft used in the assassination of resistance leaders, and now, the aircraft themselves and their bases became the targets.

A Missile Operation That Took Everyone by Surprise

Despite its military nature, this operation had consequences far beyond a tactical event. Israel’s defense systems, long regarded as some of the most advanced in the world, failed to perform successfully against this attack.

This reality has caught the attention of military analysts, who are now searching for the reasons behind this failure. For years, Israel has relied on its missile defense capabilities, but the “Waad Al-Sadiq 2” operation highlighted new challenges facing these systems.

What makes this operation a turning point in the region’s military history is not only the precision and power of the missiles but also the political and military message it conveyed.

The display of Iran’s missile strength, coupled with the vulnerabilities in Israel’s defenses, has reshaped the balance of power in the region.

Given the strategic importance of the targets and the performance of the defense systems, this event could lead to shifts in regional military and defense calculations.

This operation was not just a showcase of Iran’s missile capabilities but also a clear message to all of Iran’s adversaries: defense systems, even with billions of dollars invested, cannot stop these missiles. Now, missile power has become one of the key tools in shaping the security dynamics of the Middle East.

Iran not only demonstrated its missile strength but also challenged the region’s security order, showing that any threat against the country could be met with a swift and decisive response.
