WANA (Oct 05) – The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society announced that 10 tons of food, medicine, and hygiene packages have been delivered to the war-torn people of Lebanon. These supplies were transported via air and land routes.

 

Pir Hossein Kolivand, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent, stated: “In addition to this shipment, we have implemented emergency shelter programs, and tomorrow, over 60 more tons of essential supplies will be sent to Lebanon.”

 

He also mentioned that rescue and relief teams would be deployed along with the aid shipments, stressing that the Iranian Red Crescent stands alongside the people of Lebanon and those displaced by the conflict.
