WANA (Oct 05) – Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, condemned the U.S. and U.K. military attacks on parts of Sana’a, Al Hudaydah, and other regions of Yemen.

Baghaei described the repeated military aggression of the U.S. and U.K. against Yemen as a blatant violation of the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law, stressing the international responsibility of the aggressor parties for these illegal actions, which contravene the provisions of the UN Charter.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson also identified the main cause of continued insecurity and instability in the region as the ongoing occupation, warmongering, and expansionism of the Zionist regime. He emphasized the need to halt the aggression of the occupying regime against Lebanon and the genocide in Gaza as essential steps for restoring peace and stability in the region.

Baghaei further stated that the actions of the Yemeni people and other Islamic nations in the region in response to the crimes of the Zionist regime against Muslims in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria are a natural reaction to the killing of their Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters.

He stressed that the unlawful use of military force by the U.S. and its allies against the vigilant nation of Yemen will have no impact on their determination to defend the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
